Insert a Video in a Wiki Page

There are two ways to insert a video in a wiki page:

Insert Video Using Play Icon

  1. Navigate to the desired wiki page. 
  2. Click the Settings Cog in the top-right corner, and select Edit Page.    Video_13.png
  3. Place your cursor in the location where you intend to upload the video.
  4. Select the Insert ribbon in the top-right corner.Video_14.png
  5. Select the Upload Video button from the Insert ribbon. Video_15.png
  6. Upload a video from your computer (note there is a file size limit of 5 GB). Video_16.png 
  7. Once the video is finished uploading, it will begin processing. Click here to learn more about what happens during processing.
  8. Once processing is complete, follow the prompts to select a title and thumbnail.
  9. To resize the video, simply click on the player (it will be highlighted in blue), and drag the corner until you have reached the desired size.Video_17.png
  10. Save your wiki page.
  11. To delete a video, select Delete from the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the webpart.

Insert Video Using an Embed Code

  1. Find and copy the video’s embed code to your clipboard.
  2. Navigate to the wiki page on which you want to display the video.
  3. Click the Settings Cog in the top-right corner, and select Edit Page.Vodep_19.png
  4. Place your cursor in the location where you intend to embed the video.
  5. Select the Insert ribbon in the top-right corner. Video_14.png
  6. Select the Embed Code button from the Insert ribbon.Video_20.png
  7. Paste in the Embed Code and click Insert.Video_21.png
  8. Save your wiki page.
